INCOMING!

TREKKER: THE TIES THAT BIND "bonus" rewards have landed!

Greetings, Trekker Trooper,

First, the big news is, I've now got a solid shipping date from our printer! ETA to CRWN, our fulfillment service: SEPTEMBER 22. 

This is a bit longer than I'd been hoping for, and it means that your rewards will be arriving in October. I apologize for this slightly later-than-anticipated delivery date.

DIGITAL BACKERS: Please note that on TREKKER campaigns, all digital rewards are sent once the physical rewards being shipping.

But, there's plenty to do in the meantime! 

First, I've just picked up all of the above pictured Bonus Rewards for all physical-level backers from my local printer, Colorhaus. These tall stacks of goodies have to be sorted by yours truly into our individual Backer Rewards Packs.

Then, once CRWN has received the books, I'll be picking up the 200 copies (!) that I have to draw quick sketches into.

Then, all of this is delivered back to CRWN, and the shipping fulfillment magic begins! And to make THAT happen, we need to...

LOCK IN YOUR ADDRESSES!

You've all done a bang-up job of returning your backer surveys, with just a handful of backers yet to respond to the email from me and Backerkit to collect your shipping addresses. So, on Sept 16, I will lock in addresses, download all of the survey responses and send the info to CRWN. (Note: you can still update your address and Add-on other rewards until that time.) 

JOURNEY'S END

Friends, our long TREKKER: THE TIES THAT BIND fulfillment journey is nearing its end. And so is the long saga of Mercy's role in this fateful galactic struggle. The volume to follow THE TIES THAT BIND, which will be called TREKKER: ALL THE STARS ARE ON FIRE,  will be the climax of this long story-- and it's a resolution that I've been anticipating and building toward since I first launched this series four decades ago. 

But that doesn't mean the Trek will be over! I hope you'll be thrilled with the conclusion of this big arc of Mercy's story. And I also hope that you'll be just as excited with what will follow. Because believe me, I've got plans.

NEW TREKKER COMMISSION, plus SURVEYS UPDATE!

THE STARS HER DESTINATION!

Apologies to author Alfred Bester for lifting and tweaking his classic sci-fi novel title, but for our feisty Trekker, it's true. Mercy is on the path to discover her destiny in the stars. It's the journey I'd envisioned decades ago, when I was first imagining this series. And it's exciting to know we are, at long last, approaching those revelations and resolutions. So glad you have checked in and joined us on this long trek!

I did this sketch, catching the spirit of the thing, during a fun conversation on the podcast SKETCH UP WITH MEL AND MOG, where we talked a lot about Trekker, my long and winding career, and comics and comics-making in general. The sketches done during each show are auctioned during the live broadcast, and this piece of Mercy will be on its way to the winning bidder shortly.

SURVEYS! Thank yooooouuu!!!

Hey! You folks are rockin' it with these BackerKit survey responses! Over 93% of you have already returned your completed surveys to provide us with the info we need to send you your TREKKER: THE TIES THAT BIND rewards! For those of you who have not yet responded, please find and respond NOW to your survey from me and BackerKit, sent out on July 9 (for the early, smoke tests) or July 13 for everyone else.

As a reminder, I'm still waiting for a shipping date for our books, and as soon as I have an ETA, I will be locking orders, and prepping to send out rewards. So please don't risk missing out on getting the rewards that you've already paid me for! Also, note you can always update your survey responses (with new addresses, for instance) right up until I do lock them in. And of course, I'll post an Update once I do have that lock date in hand.
